Onyx waves
Endless, timeless
Stillness rules this place

Lightless artificial sky
The sun a glitchy error
Ever unshining
over fabricated landscapes

Hear the crashing of the sine waves
Feel their simulated lull
Hear the howling of the wind
and the bitcrushed shrieking of the seagull

The heaven above
The ocean below
merged together into
a shapeless black amoeba

Forgotten shores
of emerald and ebony
Beneath the surface
abandoned secrets slumber

Countless hollow gods
made landfall on these beaches
Voiceless vessels of extinction
steered by the unseen

Always heading east
towards the treacherous desert
